Pale freckled skin,
Big brown eyes framed with perfect lashes,
Blushing a red you could see for miles,
The same color as her full rose lips.
Loose dark curls fallen around her face.
She takes his hand into her own.
Her fingers tracing his palm, up his arm, across his chest.
Their hands joined with a feather light touch & fingers intertwined.
Hours pass that way,
The two are content, peaceful, happy.
It’s way pass midnight now,
& sleep finds them together on the couch;
The girl’s head rest on his shoulder blade, her leg wrapped around him, as her arm is.
As soon as it began,
It was over.
He takes her home,
The night ends as all nights do-
But she doesn’t forget.
